Costco Pharmacy

This is the most Costco we use. Never have problems with them. Can be crowded. But people are helpful over here.

Customers shop w/the entire family in town w no respect to consider width of isle space available; even small children are allowed to fill space for 3 shoppers therefore shoppers can't continue on same isle. They need a floor marking at beginning and end of each isle so they dont block the isles by shoppers standing in line waiting for an available register. The shoppers are ready for check-out! All it takes are painted lines/markings that remind 'inconsiderate ' shoppers a dedicated place to stop w/will allow active shoppers to cross straight over into the opposite side of the isle.

Used to be good. Don't know what happened. Put you on hold without telling you and never pick up again. One person says the meds are ready, the other person said they are not. Asked for text notification multiple times, still nothing. Literally had someone answer the phone by saying, "You again? We're busy". I'm not sure if it's bad service or they just need better staffing. Either way no good.

I yearn for the old type of mom and pop drug store. These days going to a chain is almost a must. Costco pharmacy in Teterboro is on the low end of good. They always have the most common meds in stock. But if you're getting anything expensive they never have it. Obviously they don't want to keep expensive medication on the shelf hoping some doctor with prescribe it. My Dr sends over a prescription at 10 AM. At 4:30 PM I receive a text telling me that they are out of stock, and must order it. I call, and am told that they get their order anytime after 3 PM. the next day. The next day I receive a text at 6:30 PM tellng me that the prescription is ready. They close the dept. at 7 PM....so I wait another day and pick it up on the 3rd day. This is not something that rarely happens. T

Pharmacy offers a convenient renewal of your prescription on the phone but they don't contact you to let you know when your medication is back ordered so you show up for the pick up time and are told it's back ordered. I'm picking up seizure pills and this could be life or death if I don't know that I can secure my medication on time. I understand I can't refill too soon but by the time I can refill, then there's a back order of 15 days for the medication, I'll be out of medication and risk seizures without any notice from the pharmacy so I can find a possible alternative means to obtain my medication. Sure it may be a couple bucks cheaper than your normal pharmacy but I'd save your time and go to your local pharmacy. Will not be coming back here.
