Costco Pharmacy

I value Costco and usually have good experiences, but my recent visit to the pharmacy was very disappointing. On Thursday (8/21), I went to request a transfer of my prescription from CVS. The employee took my information, but when I returned on Saturday (8/23), nothing had been processed. After waiting in a long line in difficult weather, I was told the prescription was not there. Fortunately, the woman at the counter was kind and took the time to enter everything into the computer, even though the store was very busy. Later that day, I received a call from the pharmacy, but when I called back, no one answered. On Monday, the pharmacy manager, Kelly, called me. I had consistent trouble filling my prescriptions at my local Walgreens and Publix due to stock issues with certain generics, often encountering long lines and unhelpful attitudes. In stark contrast, my experience at the Tallahassee Costco was exceptional. The process was smooth, and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Michelle, whom I spoke with over the phone and later met in person, was incredibly pleasant and efficient in assisting me with my prescription. I am now planning to move all my future prescriptions here. Thank you, Costco team—keep up the great work!

The pharmacist and staff is very helpful. I've had all my prescriptions transferred to Costco. It seems like they actually care about how I'm feeling. I only give it 4 stars because the front desk person mentioned some really personal and problematic things about her past (in a casual way) - I didn't ask and I really didn't like it. Otherwise, a great place to get your meds!

Kelly really helped me out and went the extra mile. I was in town for a family emergency and ran out of a prescription. i hadn't used Costco pharmacy back home in a while because there was another one closer to my house. She hit several roadblocks to getting my prescription approved but she stuck with it and didn't give up. she called the Costco where I lived, my other pharmacy and haggled with my insurance to get me a stop gap refill. thanks Kelly!

Even though we are not official members, Margo in the pharmacy helped me get a Rx I was having difficulty finding anywhere else!
