Costco Pharmacy

I have gone 2 weeks without one of my meds twice in the last month, because the pharmacists don't know how to use their own system. In both cases, I waited several days after my doctor send a prescription in. When I asked the pharmacy if they had a prescription under my name, they said no. In both cases, I waited a week, then tried again. They still said "no". Both of those meds are critical to me functioning, so running out of them is really bad.

I was told I could pick up my prescription but upon arriving, I was told I needed a hard copy of my prescription. My doctor had emailed me one to give to them but they would not take it and they would not print it even though I have had this done at other pharmacies before. I don't know if it's because they were about to close and didn't want to do extra work or a policy change, but nonetheless, a pharmacist I believed named Vicky there was especially rude! Won't be coming back to this pharmacy.

You can never be disappointed with Costco Pharmacy

The techs for sure don't know how to cross check profiles as they create new profiles for having a "space" in between the name. Doctor sends in a prescription with a space in between letters in my name and they create a new profile, meaning there's no insurance information. They charge me up and never apologize for the technical error on their part. The technician Christina sure knows how to lecture you and defend the system barking at you making a case that the "space" in-between the name supercedes the date of birth, home address or even the doctor who prescribed it. Never once apologize for their lack of ability to cross check on existing patients already in the system before creating a new profile--wasting patients time and energy.

This is not a good primary pharmacy. I get my medicine, But that's it. Most of the time it has to come form a warehouse somewhere else and feel that they have to make a big deal out of it when they tell me. They are not friendly or helpful at all.
