Costco Pharmacy

Had my prescription called in the morning and tried to come and pick up and found they didn’t check the voice mail for the day. Had to have my nurse call again and Spent 40 mins waiting for my medication.

The pharmacists at this pharmacy do not care about the patients who are needing the medications here. My wife takes a medication that we had to change the dosage on, the Dr's office calls in the new dosage but it has to be approved by the insurance. The pharmacy sits on this information and does not notify us or put in the request for the insurance approval until I called them to see what the status of the Rx was. So that adds on 5-7 days. Fast forward to us now having the insurance approved and ready to pick up the prescription and they are on back order...This was never even mentioned when I was on the phone with them for 15-20 minutes on the first 15-20 minutes. If I had known this I would have worked to find another pharmacy. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS PHARMACY.

I requested a refill for 2 medications, doctor approved and sent the Rx to this pharmacy. 5 days later I get a text that the Rx is ready to be picked up. When I arrive they inform me that they have only filled one of the medications and that now they will now order the other. This is a very common Rx used by millions of people and they want me to come in 2 different times to pick up the different dosages... They couldn't even give a coherent reason for this. Avoid this pharmacy.

As far as getting your medications filled here,it’s doable,but you better expect to wait an hour and a half or more. The prescription drop off now is crowded with people getting the covid “vaccine” or another booster,so don’t expect just to be able to drop your script off quickly. Then,once you finally give them the script,you are asked to wait “5-10 minutes” so they can verify it,and that turns into about a 30+ minute wait just to see if they will fill it. After receiving confirmation of whether or not they fill it,another wait time of “45-60 minute” is advised so they can fill it. After two hours of walking the store,your pills are ready,finally. If you plan to drop off a script and plan to pick it up another day then maybe this pharmacy isn’t that bad,but god forbid you need them as soo

These guys are idiots. I called in to Pharmacy Tech Lydia (Lynda?) to check if a medication was in stock. She said they do carry it but she cannot promise to fill it without seeing a valid prescription. Which I brought in. Only to be told they would they have to order it. She just wasted my time and worse, treated my time as if it does not matter. How hard is it to check stock?
