Costco Pharmacy

Make sure to ask if you got ALL your prescription. They will happily send you back out in post-blizzard road conditions with only half your post-surgery medication even after telling you about possible complications with one of the meds they didnt fill.

We have been getting our meds here for years. The staff is friendly and personable. Overall, the experience has been good. The texts alerts never work for some reason though.

Usually I have not had issues at this pharmacy. However, yesterday my physician sent them a prescription to be filled for my infant son. Instead of telling anyone they couldn't fill it, they just told my husband they didn't see the order come in. Then the doctor's office called them and Costco said there had been a technical error. Then when the doctor's office resubmitted the prescription, Costco said oops there wasn't a technical error, they just can't compound that prescription. They should have a better system for communicating their issues rather than just sitting on an important medication for a baby with no follow up at all.

Pharmacy made a mistake entering my prescription causing my insurance to deny it. When Costco pharmacist (Kelly) was made aware of this error she was asked by my insurance company to fill the prescription at the price I would have paid in December but she refused. Because of Costco pharmacy’s mistake I had no choice but to pay the amount as though I was at the beginning of my deductible because it is a new year. Needless to say, I switched pharmacies.
