Costco Pharmacy

I'm very happy to shop at Costco but I had to leave this pharmacy. They will not be the go-between with my health insurance and my doctor, leaving it all up to me to navigate the health insur world. I have to do it myself and it takes me 3 to 4 weeks and multiple calls and emails and waiting to get the issue resolved. That's not how pharmacies should work, they are supposed to work with my doctor and the health insurance company and not make me run around and do it. If insurance denies something and that has been my prescription for years, they should find out why and then work with my doctor. If my doctor writes a prescription in a way that is confusing, they should call my doctor to find out more. Anytime I have called or gone to the pharmacy, it's like they don't care, it's my pro

This is self service. They don’t even pretend to care about their competence or your health. DR. Changed my prescription , doubled the dose of the same medication. They filled the new one, sent me a text that it was ready. I called and told them that I had two more weeks of old before I would come in for the new, and I would be in for the new prescription in two weeks. They sent me a text two weeks later that the prescription was ready. Remember- I called and spoke to them, and they filled the new one once. Yet, they mindlessly filled the old one again, wrong one. THEIR EXCUSE, THEY DON’T HAVE TIME TO NOTE PRESCRIPTION CHANGES OR CHECK FOR ACCURACY. I think reputable pharmacist checks before mindlessly filling prescriptions. Consistently the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Final straw was waiting over a week for a medication, paying ahead, and then showing up to pick it up and they refuse to give it to me despite it being in their hands because they messed up something in their system. Never come here. Their staff is rude, the service is awful, and evidently no one cares. Thanks Charla.

There is sometimes a line to pick up, but they always fill my dog’s prescriptions quickly and are very nice.

I’ve contacted them multiple times and had my provider fax multiple copies of my prescription. They say they’ll “work on it” and I never hear from them again. Hopeless.
