Customer Reviews
I have recently become an Executive Card holder with Costco . I had my prescriptions transferred from Publix to Costco so I would be able to pick up my prescriptions while shopping and make my days of running errands easier. The pharmacist called me today to inform me that I would not be able to have my prescription filled because they are not take new clients. This information should have been available before you become a member. When I decided to become a member of Costco I was under the impression that all services were available for members.
Nice pharmacy and like the prices but do NOT have your Dr or Vet call in prescription- Costco pharmacy has been “having issues” with receiving scripts this way and your prescription will be lost and you’ll spend hours trying to get Costco in touch with your doctor. They can fix the system.
Thank you Briyanna for spending time deciphering insurance so I could get Dexcom G7 at a discount. Spending about 15 minutes on researching the issue, she is really dug into the details with my insurance company so I could save hundreds on this glucose monitoring device. Awesome person. Thanks Costco!
Never had a bad experience. Receive text when ready. Staff is always nice and working efficiently to keep the lines moving. Only in one instance they had to special order my meds but they called when it was ready. Most issues come when people - don’t give time for their scripts to be prepared or wait u til the last minute… not on the pharmacy.
With this being a pharmacy, within a "discount" warehouse, which is a major chain, I would have expected the customer service to be stereotypically mediocre, but it's the opposite here. Regardless of who has interacted with me, over the phone or in person, I have been helped kindly and often efficiently. They always answer the phone, and they never sound impatient or rude. Whoever hired this team of pharmacist(s) and techs, has a true gift for hiring and/or just knows people really well. The prices are often [suspiciously] better, or nearly the same as other retail pharmcies, which has been so helpful to me these last few uninsured months. As well as suggestions on how to cope with the ongoing inventory shortages, and how to avoid going off certain meds while not having insurance.
