I was referred to Dr Benefield and I’m so glad that I actually followed through and made an appointment. The atmosphere in the office is very calming and welcoming, which is exactly what I was looking for. The staff is very professional and caring. A FILLING THAT REQUIRED MULTIPLE FOLLOW-UP VISITS, COMBINED WITH DISCOURTEOUS FRONT-OFFICE COMMUNICATION, LED ME TO SEEK CARE ELSEWHERE. I came to this office as a new patient to see Dr. Maria Benefield for a tooth filling. Within a couple of hours of leaving the office, I began experiencing discomfort, an ache, and pressure on the side where the filling was done. I stopped chewing on that side. Around the same time, I also noticed an unusual sensation in the area where the tooth had been numbed, which added to the overall discomfort. This was not something I had experienced with prior fillings. I contacted the office and was told that this could be part of the bite adjusting, but I asked to be seen and was scheduled for an adjustment. Although I initially thought the issue was resolved

Dr. Maria is so sweet and gentle. I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist, and Dr. Maria and her staff always make me feel comfortable and welcome. They always answer my questions and respect my time, which I truly appreciate. Not to mention how knowledgeable and professional they are something we all already know. Overall, a great experience.
