My provider was out of the office when my mammogram results returned as abnormal and indicated that additional testing was needed. After waiting three days to allow the office time to address the results, I called and left a message. Cory returned my call and stated that the abnormality was most likely benign and a common finding on mammograms. While I appreciated the reassurance, I asked if she could send the additional imaging orders to the same facility where my mammogram was performed. Cory informed me that she would not be ordering the additional testing because she had never seen me before and was only calling to provide reassurance. After 17 years of seeing physicians from another group, I was forced to see those at Advent Health due to my insurance. I have seen Cory Hensley, APRN twice now and she is absolutely wonderful. She and I together chose the appropriate doctors that I will need to see with referrals. She took extra time with me during my visits to make sure my needs were met.
