First I was put in a hallway in the ER where there were ppl not of a sound mind walking around and I did not feel safe. Second, the nurse in charge of me stopped by maybe a handful of times to render me any kind of attention whatsoever. 3rd, I saw a NP in the hallway. 4th, the ekg was hooked up to me in the hallway for everyone to get their eyes full. 5th, I never saw a doctor until the day I got discharged. What happened to me was never discussed so I didnt know if I had a heart attack or if I was just nuts. Send me home with paperwork for a heart attack but tell me "they aren't saying I had one" but they are giving it to me anyway. Then the discharge paperwork says to resume normal activities but the cardiac paperwork says rest for 3 to 6 weeks before resuming. The nurses on the second f
The care I received was beyond amazing. All of the staff in the ER including nurse Alissa & nurse Catalina and all of the other staff, including the night respiratory tech, and also a young man who isappsrently an ER tech, were exponentially better than excellent. When I got upstairs the nursing staff we also incredible, including my nurse Janet and all of her staff, inclufing a young Latina who lent me her chsrge cable through the night. All of the nursing staff I saw on that floor were outstanding. Kudos to the entire organization.
The team of doctors performed a steller job. However, there was a huge failure by the nursing and hospital administration staff. First, regarding our experience, we were in the ER for three days because there were no hospital rooms available until that time. Second, and most importantly, the worst part about the entire stay at this hospital (including our three days in the ER) is that NONE of the nurses or CNAs turned my mother or changed her for FIVE DAYS straight. As a result, my non-ambulatory mother who has dementia and cannot advocate for herself developed a stage-two bedsore and now has to be treated for that in addition to her other serious medical condition treatments that are exhausting to someone of her age and in her condition to have to endure. This hospital absolutely does not
Patient care here is phenomenal!! They have been taking very good care of my Dad! From the doctors, head nurses, staff nurses, aides, housekeeping, food service and cafeteria staff, all staff we encounter are friendly and eager to help in any way. I would have given 5 stars but the patient rooms and bathrooms are in desperate need of an update. The second room my Dad was transfered to the bathroom smelled moldy and the porcelain sink was scratched up with black marks. Housekeeping does a great job keeping the rooms clean but a good paint job and new flooring would make the rooms not look so old and drab. They have perfected the patient care aspect so if they would work on the optics it would definitely be a 5 star review.
Came in with Chest Pain, Left with absolutely no information and an EEG 13 hours after I was brought in and after it stopped besides the residual pain. Given motrin, aspirin, and saline in the first ER that I was at and 2 Motrin when I got to this place for the next 48 was given nothing except my chart reflected that I got meds I was never given, was never treated for the light headedness when I would stand up and almost fell multiple times yet when i continued to tell them about it the entire time I was there I was just told to sit down then, yet no one would come to help me with peeling IVs, falling off EKG stickies, needing to use the restroom without peeing on myself, and missing meals and meds. Nurses were very rude when I asked for any update but the CNAs and students were amazing.
