Corewell Health Urgent Care - Grosse Pointe Farms

Wonderful from the start fast service with smiling faces. I was feeling terrible. The young lady understood & made check - in simple. The Nurse came and did the same with a lot more empathy if that’s possible. Once the nurse took my vitals, I explained how I was feeling. The nurse took down what was going on quickly knew what test to take wait time was not more than 10 minutes. The amazing Dr. came in. Explained everything in detail. Ask some questions and I was on my way. This place is amazing. We definitely recommend to family and friends. Unfortunately, my results were not the best, yet the best treatment moving forward. Thankfully a wonderful team.

I have been going since they opened I had nothing bad to say! Today I went in and from the time I walked in the door until I left that place I was treated with white glove. The Medical assistant literally offered me a wheel chair. When I said I wanted to try to walk she said lean on me I got you! I know about this my back goes out on me. The doctor or advanced person who cared for me even tied my shoes and tucked the laces in my shoe. He said he wanted to make sure I didn’t fall. I hate to recommend them LOL you know we like to keep the good things to our self. I highly recommend this urgent care. Thank me later!

Very disappointing experience. I scheduled an employer-paid drug screen online for 6:20 PM, only to be told when I arrived that drug screenings end at 6:00 PM — even though the system allowed me to book it. The receptionist was rude and talked over me, and they unnecessarily ran my insurance even though this was employer-paid. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield through my employer and my primary care providers are within Corewell, so that made even less sense. I will say that during previous visits for myself and my daughter, the medical staff (techs and PAs) have been good — the issue has consistently been with the front desk receptionists and their lack of professionalism and communication. Because of this experience and poor coordination, I will not be returning and would encourage others

Corewell Staff was kind. After dealing with pain management issues since 2006 and knowing what and how much of a medication is helpful for my situation that I was always able to receive for relief. Not being in need of a narcotic and being from a different state I’ve noticed ER and Urgent care in Detroit are very different. Unfortunately after speaking with the PA I saw, Tim. I’d let him know that 30 mg of Toradol wouldn’t help me and that I needed 60 mg which is helpful. He didn’t seem to care.Because everyone is different, everything doesn’t work for everybody. I’ve had many Toradol shots which have worked in 20 to 40 minutes. Tim also gave me a steroid shot which I know may take some time to work. I went to this urgent care for a sore wrist. I made an online appointment, which was easy. The front desk attendant was kind, attentive, and efficient. I was seen within five minutes and attended to right away. X-rays were done and read quickly and a referral was given. Providers were great. My overall experience was very positive.
