Cooley Dickinson, Urgent Care (Southampton)

We went in for suspected double eye infection. Doctor Juanita Carnes was very impatient with our child during exam. Juanita was overall short, and unpleasant. They prescribed her ointment, to which i pushed back on because shes four. She pushed for ointment so i agreed. Shes on the ointment for 3x a day for 7 days. I tried to do the first dose and there is no way she was letting me pull down her bottom lid to put this ointment in. I called the office to ask to switch to drops and was immediately met with attitude, and a condescending tone. Was told many kids were able to do the ointment… don't know many 4 year old who would sit still for that. We would have went to her primary but they are closed today and tomorrow due to impending storm. I have been using this location for years, and will

I brought my three-year-old daughter in for a visit yesterday. I was coming from almost an hour away, and I called to make sure they could see her. The receptionist was extremely friendly and so nice 😊 n the phone. When I arrived, I was greeted by the same friendly receptionist who is so nice and understanding. They were very close to closing, but they never made me feel rushed. The wait time was not long at all and everybody was so friendly to my daughter and patient with her. They made sure to explain everything to her to help her not be scared which made the difference. I can’t say enough about this business as they were amazing! Every single person we encountered was so nice. I highly recommend this business and I would definitely go back there again for all my families needs.

Would love to thank the NP on duty around 5 pm on a Wednesday, unfortunately I was not able to get the name of the NP. I came in with my young daughter that had a delicate situation with her eye. The NP was very very patient and professional in this difficult situation that took a lot of time and in the end the problem was resolved. Thank you so much!!! Also the receptionist had great customer service. I felt good in this office in general!

Showed up at 3:57 (when they close at 5pm) and was told they hit their max for patients. Some days they aren’t even open because they don’t have a provider. When they do see me I’ve never had a problem but getting in to see them is a nightmare. Do better. At least have the ability to schedule appointments if you are going to have a max capacity.

They only do STD/STI testing if you are showing symptoms and have a referral from your PCP, was also told to disclose why I needed/wanted that testing in the waiting room for everyone to hear, very rude. Godforbid someone keep track of they're sexual health
