Cookeville Regional Urgent Care

I love the professional office people very nice and friendly and very helpful. I love the nurse she was very kind and professional as well. The nurse was very to the point to make sure everything was covered for me. The Doctor was professional as well and she knew exactly what she was doing to get out the pieces of glass in my right foot. She also covered making sure that I had my meds I need and to what pharmacy to send them to as well.

Professional staff, clean environment, and efficient triage process makes this my go-to for urgent care. I needed a couple of stitches this time around and got it taken care of quickly with a most pleasant staff. Since they are connected to the CRMC (Cookeville Regional Medical Center), it makes this a better option than the ER. They’re open from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, so it lowers costs for lower acuity patients, a great benefit to the community. Highly recommended.

My experience was excellent from start to finish. While the wait time was slightly longer than usual, it was completely understandable given the number of patients being seen. Joe was exceptionally kind and thoughtful, even though I wasn’t feeling well, his positive attitude made the visit much easier. Maggie was equally compassionate and attentive. Despite leaving with both strep and COVID, I left feeling genuinely cared for and well supported. I truly appreciate the professionalism and kindness of the entire team.

Urgent Care is conveniently located in mid town area with spacious wide parking spaces. The exterior is clean and with good signage. There was two nice welcoming clerks that quickly processed my health issue. There was a short half hour wait before I saw a FNP E Liz S. She was very thorough w vital checks and present symptoms. She gave me diagnosis and medication to follow through with. She was a very good med professional. Everything went smoothly and timely. RonS.

The doctor and nurse that met with me were very nice. The front desk seemed upset that I was there which didn’t feel great ontop of being sick. And the wait in the room was kind of long (understandable) but the chair was super uncomfortable. Also not great while sick. More comfortable way to wait and more understanding reception would make it 5 stars. Update: $493 before insurance. $391 of that was just for being a patient. I was tested for strep and flu and prescribed antibiotics for strep. That’s it. They also double charged me for the flu test on my bill. I’ve tried reaching out to the number they gave in the response to this review and it goes straight to hold. This brings the review from 3 stars down to 1.
