Cook Family Medicine

I have been taking my husband and ex-husband, whom I care for, to Cooks. We really enjoy Karrie, however, their front office person is not a pleasant person. We also just learned Karrie is leaving, so there is that. We are always asked to confirm the appointment and all our insurance, address, etc, before arriving online. Then, when you arrive, the front desk lady, who is extremely rude, asks you to confirm the same information you had already confirmed. When I say I have already confirmed as requested, she states I have to ask these questions to everyone. Because I was not happy with her asking again, and she knew it, she was all pissy. good... but need new prescriptions, with new Humana insurance...what happened to the Cook portal... need to communicate...??

They called and said they had a sample medication for me and to just stop and pick it up… they charged my insurance for it as though it was a full dr visit.. will absolutely never go back

Called to make appointment and receptionist was extremely rude unprofessional over phone to me. She had negative attitude over phone towards me I did leave my name and number and she basically went out of her way to call me liar tell me I did not. She forgets she is replaceable so is her job. Her demeanor was unacceptable towards me. This is people you doctors hire to work as receptionist. She acted like I was asking her to go out of her way to look things up. That’s her job. Here I’m so desperately looking for job opportunities they hire rude people. With my learning disabilities I’m struggling to find job yet rude disrespectful people are ones who get hired on .
