Convenient Care

I went to the urgent care and the nurse was straight up rude I have been sick with a persistent cough causing severe pain on both sides of ribs first she said well what do you want us to do I told her I just want some relief then she said well if your ribs are fractured there is nothing they can do and I know that I have had broken ribs twice and I asked about a cough medicine and she said they do not give cough medicine with pain medication I told her I don’t want the pain meds all I want is to get the cough under control…….Well I seen the Dr and she was amazing and gave me some cough medicines and wrapped my ribs and so much better. That nurse needs to learn some bedside manners. I was so upset when I left I apologized to the Dr for wasting their time.

My 7 month old son has been projectile vomiting and had diarrhea with runny nose and a bit of a cough. Now my daughter has begun vomiting and coughing and having diarrhea. I took my son in first to inform them that kids at their daycare had been getting sick from stomach bug. I waited 2 hours just for this doctor to see him for 2 minutes and only check his ears, nose and mouth. Then looked up and said to me there's nothing you can do just keep doing what you're doing. I believe it's post nasal dripage. He's just fighting off something. He's fine. She couldn't even admit it was the stomach bug and now my daughter is ill because I thought I was wrong. I hate the laziness to do your job here. Never doubting my gut again.

Staff was friendly. I received quick service. The NP listened to my concerns.

I have never been so disappointed by a hospital! I have three sick grandkids and I'm sick too! Just because I said I couldn't taste orsmelt he Dr wouldn't even see any of us! Literally took what I said on the phone rather than looking at us to see if any of us might have had strep or bronchitis!! Didn't prescribe anything!! Nothing!! All that got done literally wasv covid test on me and my oldest!Waste of time driving from Clinton! I would have been better off going to Clinton ER at least they would have seen us! Now we're all still sick going to have to try to get in somewhere tomorrow! I'm so mad!

We were traveling through OK on our way to Chicago, IL & found out that we had been exposed to Covid-19. We needed to get texted before we arrived in Chicago & we were able to get tested here. No appointment required & no problem for out of state individuals. Very minimal wait time & the health care provider came out to our motorhome. Everyone that we spoke with was extremely helpful & caring. We were impressed & pleased with the exceptional level of care that we received. We were referred to Convenient Care by the Health Department in Clinton, OK, who were also really helpful.
