Continuing Healthcare of Lisbon

This place is trying to kill my mother, they keep her medically sedated all day, she is there for rehab but after several weeks can't hardly stand, she is so drugged up she can't even eat, and hasn't eaten much for weeks, she even got COVID and she is in room by herself, staff does whatever they want with her even though she tells them no and to stop. I talk with DON and Administer and this is still going on. They just don't seem to care.

I can't speak for others, but my mother was there for a short time, and the staff couldn't have been better. Erin and Heather were extremely helpful in getting her signed up for Medicaid, and everything was completely explained to us. They get 4stars from me. Thanks to all of the staff.

My mother was here for over a month and just went home yesterday. You could not ask for a better place for someone you love to be. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE is absolutely wonderful, caring and incredibly nice. I would recommend ignoring the negative comments and check this place out for yourself, it is really an amazing group of people that CARE about the residents.

This place is horrible. My parents were both in there for rehabilitation and I had them both out of there within 48hrs!!! They received 1 egg and 1 piece of toast for breakfast. Their lunch was a piece of chicken that was so hard you could barely cut through it and the spaghetti noodles that they called buttered noodles were totally plain, dry, and hard. It was all cold. The little pad of butter they received that I’m guessing was for the “buttered noodles” wouldn’t even melt on the noodles they were so cold. They received NO kind of care at all in the 48 hour period they were there! They had a couple VERY nice aids but the one nurse was SO fake nice that it made me want to vomit. My aunt & uncle were both at this facility. It was really nice that they let them share a room while they were there. Awhile after they went home my uncle passed away and my aunt is now back for long term care. Her room is super cute with alot of her own decorations there and she really likes it there. The nurses are very nice to her, especially Julia and Jayne. The dietary director cooks out on the grill for the residents alot so the food is also good. Thanks to everyone there and keep up the good work!!! 5 stars!!
