It seemed to be all right when my uncle first got there. The problem came after he passed. He passed on November 15th. I have been calling the funeral home, have sent over the death certificate and everything. We still have not received his funds. He's been cremating everything for 2 months. He's been resting at the funeral home. I'm on a fixed income and I don't have the money. My God it's only $1,200 I call and they say I'm going to get a call back. No communication at all. It was all good while he was alive. No communication is bad. I'm still waiting for them to release his funds to the funeral home. 2 months is ridiculous. I didn't send them there. He got sent there from another nursing home. But I know now to do deep deep research before you send your loved ones off. I'm truly disgust
I've wanted to be able to write this for a very long time. I didn't feel safe posting it while my dad was still a resident in fear of staff retribution. But finally, after YEARS of trying to get him transferred to a better facility, I was successful. There's no way you chose this place for your loved one. They're there because it's one of maybe 3 places that accept low to no-income residents. I believe everyone deserves better than this place. It is not dignified care. But for those of us who can't afford better, here is some advice. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Especially if you have a loved one with the inability to communicate. Or a loved one with dementia who is at risk of leaving the building and getting lost. They lost my dad THREE times. Once for 8 hours. Once in the dead of winter when he ha
As a former patient of this facility i would give this facility a lower rating but a handful of people at this facility are absolutely wonderful. I was admitted to this facility on feb 13 2025. Upon arrival you could smell the urine and feces on the third floor where i would call home for the next three months as soon as the doors opened to the elevator. Upon arrival i expected to recieve the wound vacs they had told the hospital they had in place. It turned it that they did not have the wound vac's ready as ordered by the hospital that placed me there. They would be adamant that the hospital had not sent the settings over with the intake information but that had recieved the order for a cpap machine. Eventually i would get the wound vac after a huge behest but only after an employee told
A friend of mine suggested this place and I agreed to take my family member for rehab! Regretted my decision in less than 24 hours. She was forced to stay in bed and use a diaper even though she was able to walk. Staff didn’t even know she was supposed to wear a brace and a collar when up and walking. They were not even able to find those belongings. Later we find out that night shift just threw her stuff on top of the closet. They should have received a report from hospital nurse but pretended like didn’t know anything about the patient. After I told the nurse that she is able to walk to bathroom she told me that CNA is taking a brake and I was alone to take my family member to bathroom while nurse was sitting at the nursing station! I would give you _5 stars continental Rehab you should
This nursing home is the worst. They took out the phones for the residents to use. I don't understand how they expect people to contact their loved ones at the nursing home. How do they expect their residents to contact their loved ones outside their nursing home? Katie Dewerdt got back to me, and she told me they didn't take out phones, but they did. This is the worst nursing home. Plus employees block the driveway so you can't drive in. Plus there are three people to every tiny room. And the TV for the residents is on their side, not in front of them. Shown is the picture of the phone they took out for their residents.
