Connecticut GI: Bridgeport

I would like to share my recent experience as a patient, as it has been an extremely difficult week for me medically. I was in significant pain and had recently been admitted to a hospital in New York for five days. After being discharged, I contacted the office to confirm that I was stable and was scheduled for an appointment on Friday at 8:30 AM. The practitioner also prescribed a solution for me to drink in preparation, which I took as instructed. On the morning of the appointment, I was in severe pain and very disoriented. My daughter had to accompany me because I was unable to walk on my own. In my confusion, I mistakenly went to Fairfield instead of Bridgeport, arriving at 8:30 AM. Dr Lillo essentially treats my entire family at this point and each and every one of us have nothing but fantastic things to say about his care. I recently went to the ER in July for horrible abdominal pains and vomiting. They did a CT but when it came back normal they shrugged and said it was hormonal/uterine spasms. However it kept getting worse then stabilized, becoming a more chronic pain/chronic vomiting situation. Dr Lillo took me way more seriously and sent me for numerous tests, started me on medication and soon an endoscopy. He listens very well, answers all your questions and makes sure you understand what is being said. I don’t feel embarrassed to explain my symptoms either. This was the first time I went to the Bridgeport office and it was an excellent experience! From the Receptionist to the Medical Assistant to the P.A. Bryan Clancy. Everyone was outstanding!

Our was very good from the reception to the doctor. Very professional and friendly and helpful and respectful.
