Conejo Family Eyecare

I've been going to Conejo Family Eyecare for years. Dr. Griffith is so kind and patient. He always makes you feel so comfortable and welcome and gives you very thoughtful and thorough information during your eye exam. His wife and everyone on staff are just as kind, knowledgeable and professional. I love it!

Our world moves quite fast these days so to find a doctor who is both a wealth of knowledge coupled with the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced is a rarity. Well, I was truly fortunate to find that very rare gem in Dr. Stacy Hamlet from Conejo Family Eyecare. I went in due to blurry vision I was experiencing in my right eye. After extensive testing she found that I had a detached retina requiring immediate attention. As you can imagine, worry quickly set in as to what this would entail and Stacy was able to bring me a sense of calm during a sensitive time. She displayed incredible poise, was so patient being totally present in the moment and above all she truly showed how much she genuinely cared which made me feel so much better. My wife first went to Dr. Griffith years ago, she was always happy with his service. We moved away from CA in 2010. Fast-forward to 2017 and we moved back for career and family. Now with a little boy, all three of us have been in and checked by Dr. Hamlet. She is so sweet and sincere, you can tell she loves what she does. It's also nice to visit a doctor that invests and utilizes the latest technology in optical care. This is the kind of doctor I trust, and would recommend to family, friends and strangers!

I am not only disappointed in this practice but specifically Dr. Hamlet. After my exam she recommended a specific lens that costs more than just readers which is what I planned to get but she convinced me to get these other more pricy ones. Upon trying them I found they didn’t help me and I couldn’t get used to them so I asked for the readers. When I went back to the office the dr didn’t have me back in the exam room in private she was treating me in the waiting area with others around. Even if it was to discuss my issue or to test the vision this is my personal health that should have been private. Furthermore when I received the readers that they swapped the original lens with they didn’t charge me however I felt As though I should have been reimbursed for the difference in cost as

I took my 3 year old in to see Dr. Hamlet as she has been complaining of eye pain. Dr. Hamlet was wonderful and my daughter loved her. She really took the time to listen to our concerns and made what could of been a scary process lots of fun. I would definitely refer my friends and family to Conejo Family Eyecare.
