Cone Health Brown Summit Family Medicine

My family physician of nearly 30 years recently joined this practice. Her name is Rafaela Aguilar. It took me a few weeks to track her down because the practice she left wouldn't tell where she went. They said they weren't allowed! Thanks to Google, I found her!!!! I went for my first visit in this location that is new for us both, and I LOVE it! My adult daughter who has also been her patient since childhood made herself an appointment while I was there!!! We love her!!! She's the best!!! She's thoughtful, compassionate, thorough, respectful, professional, and just all together AWESOME!!! If you're looking for quality care with a touch of sweetness, Dr Aguilar is your best bet! My mom is in her 70s, English is her 2nd language, and she has a heart condition. She's not always happy with her experiences with healthcare, but she's really happy with everyone she has encountered at this facility, and the care she has been receiving from Amber Howard. It could not be closer to the Reedy Fork neighborhood, which is great because she can drive herself there without getting on the highway. At this point, as a family, we have been to probably 7 different Cone Health locations. We're really happy with all of them! MyChart has been great for scheduling and recordkeeping.

Dr Pickard is absolutely the best! I’ve never referred a doctor because I basically try to stay away from them. When I met Dr. Pickard, it was immediately clear to me that I could trust him. He was very straight forward and didn’t sugar coat anything and I trusted that. Sandy, his nurse is so sweet and proficient in dealing with the patients. The staff was very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

Dr Pickard has looked after my husband and I since 2007 through some very serious illnesses, along with Dr Durham. When we have a problem that can't wait his staff get us in there fast. Dr Pickard is very straightforward, tells you straight, and provides expert care. He is very skilled in medication knowledge and usage. His nurse Sandy is wonderful and has a friendly caring personality. I always recommend this practice!

I haven't written a review in a long time but with Dr. Howard NP is not like others in the Medical field, when it comes to documenting things most of them will put there own spin on things I really think they do it unconsciouysly but it's still done and sometimes it shines a patient in a bad light. When it comes to Dr.Howard she does not do that in the slightest way. I have had other Doctors label me as a addict, when I let them know I self medicate my pain, due to that lable can get a Pain Doctor to touch me even though there is many diffrent ways to treat a persons pain no one even wants to try. Now maybe since she was honest and put in my chart what I was honest with her about just like it was told to her maybe i can quit going to places I dont want to go to get something that I hate ta
