Concorde Career College- Garden Grove

I finished my last module for the Dental Assisting program at Concorde with Mr. Mike and overall had a wonderful experience. I’ve been in college for a few years now, and Mr. Mike is the first instructor I’ve had who truly cares about his students. There was never a time when I felt I couldn’t ask questions or seek advice on the curriculum because he is always willing to help in every way. He’s also very attentive and encouraging. There were times when I had doubts about this career path because I felt I wasn’t good enough; however, he was very reassuring and genuinely wants to see each of his students succeed. I would highly recommend taking night classes with Mr. Mike.

Miss Julie has been absolutely amazing! From the very first time I spoke with her, she made me feel so welcomed and supported. Her warm personality, genuine care, and helpful advice made the entire admissions process so easy and stress-free. Honestly, her kindness and encouragement are a big part of why I chose Concorde College. She truly made me feel like I belonged here. Miss Julie goes above and beyond for her students, and I’m so grateful for all her help and guidance. Concorde is lucky to have her!

My entire time there was a insane. Like being in a drama film. I had this teacher Mrs.Jacobs who was the ONLY reason I stayed for as long as I did. When I was there, the MA coordinator was SUUUCH a pain in the rear. He would come to our class (Mrs.Jacobs class) and just sit there. He would not give any input and when he was asked suddenly he felt the need to leave. All he did was waste our time and make a lot of us very uncomfortable or in my case ready to demand a refund. Worst of all the appointed head of school at the time would do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it. The MA program there is such a joke, as a young adult I've never been surrounded by older adults who acted like children. Mr.Black (one of the MA instructors) was also a case. DON’T come here for the MA program!! I wish I had good things to say about this school but I genuinely would not return here for the LVN program. I did my Medical Assistant program here and to shortly summarize don’t come here it sucks. First of all they do this weird cycle; the program is 6 months long so there are 6 courses. The courses are a cycle 1313,1323,1333,1343,1353,1363. I unknowing joined when it was course 1353 which was the course where the students were learning blood draws, since it was my first month I obviously was not confident enough to go and do one and the instructor said that was okay and that we could work on it next month (next month never came because he got fired which is a story for another time. But it also resulted in me having a different teacher each course w

After some time away from schooling, I was informed that the RT program was offering past grads a chance to come back and sit in during Professor Vrabs class for Respiratory Board prep. I took the news as another chance to not give up on RT and give it my all. The new approach that they teach and offer was great! Committing time and effort into what Mr. Vrab teaches, I was able to pass both TMC & CSE! I am very appreciative of the chance to be able to go back and sit in to get help and pass my boards. Thank you to the RT department Mr. Skinnell and Mr. Vrab.
