Concentra Urgent Care

When we checked in for a routine sports physical we were told the wait would be around 30 minutes. After 30 minutes we were told that we would be at the clinic for 2 to 3 hours (wait and services combined) because they checked my daughter in incorrectly the first time. Given the now longer wait we asked if we could leave for a time and come back only to be told no, we had to sit there. After an hour and a half they called us in (calling at least 10 people in who got there after us) and put us in an exam room where we sat for another hour. After 30 minutes I asked so.eone what was going on amd basically got a shrug. This place is a joke.

The wait time was insane....and then people that came in after me started to get called in before me so that was upsetting. I had 15 min to do a physical and blood draw, i had an appt to get a soft cast off from a surgery a week prior so i could NOT miss that. The dr understood and push everything thru fast, which was the best part of the visit.

Purpose of my visit was for pre-employment lab tests. The staff at this East Madison location is very professional, pleasant, and they work well as a team. During my wait in the lobby I could overhear co-workers collaborating and getting work done. I can tell this team works hard and plays hard (from front desk staff, nurses, technicians, and providers); they have each others' backs--willing to go above and beyond for each other and for their clients. Lots of kudos to all staff working at this location!

This facility operates with a level of unprofessionalism that is honestly shocking. For over an hour, I watched the manager repeatedly instruct the receptionist to place callers on hold for 15 minutes at a time, only to put them back on hold again. This was intentional, continuous, and completely unacceptable. It shows a blatant disregard for patients and a total lack of respect for anyone trying to reach this office. The staff here demonstrate zero work ethic, zero urgency, and zero commitment to patient care. Their behavior makes it clear they are not interested in helping the people who rely on this clinic. I arrived for a pre-employment appointment scheduled and ended up waiting more than two and a half hours with absolutely no communication. No explanations, no updates—nothing. After

As I write this, I’ve been waiting for over an hour just to pick up some results. On top of that, they’ve hung up on me multiple times when I called, and no one could even tell me if my results were ready until I decided to show up in person. It’s been more than 12 business days since I submitted everything. This level of service is completely unacceptable.
