Comprehensive Women's Care

Second review since my first detailed review from 9/14/22 was deleted by the practice—pictured below. As many other negatives reviews have mentioned, the office staff here continues to be rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Which is a shame bc Dr Mini and NP Cathy are wonderful. I had the same issue in 2022 that was thankfully handled by the clinical lead supervisor at the time, but it’s concerning that a doctor’s office handling some of the most vulnerable medical appts continues to employ those who apparently lack the professionalism and emotional regulation/intelligence to be handling said calls. I’m leaving this review to bring awareness to other women who may be thinking about going to this doctor’s office. I went to this office for my first pregnancy. I went for my prenatal, delivery and post natal visits. Through out the whole time I experienced toxic and dismissive treatment. I was late to one appointment during my pregnancy and was reprimanded for it when I was at the stage that I had to rely on transportation from others bc it was my last month before delivery and we aren’t supposed to drive. My labor and delivery was traumatizing to the point I suffered extreme PTSD. I went to the hospital in false labor and sent home. Not being checked on by my doctor or nurse. It took me 2 days to go into real labor. I was three days over my due date. When I went back to the hospital and

I went here for years, and it was great. I initially chose them because I was able to send a request online for an appointment and then they would call me to schedule. When they became part of Ohio Health, that stopped, so I found a different place where I could schedule online. I was thinking of going back to Comprehensive Women's Care, but they still don’t have online scheduling, and when I tried to call today between 4 and 4:10, the call kept getting disconnected. Google says they're open until 4:30.

Update: I quit coming here because I had a really bad experience when I had to see a nurse who wasn’t my usual provider. She tried to talk me out of my IUD which I just had inserted, just because I had questions. She also ran tests for no reason which resulted in a surprise $90 bill for me. I called and wrote letters to try to resolve this and I was passed along and ignored. It’s too bad because my first experience was good. Old review: Great experience with nurse Jennifer. Quick and painless exams and everyone is very understanding and helpful. Only took away one star because phone system is a nightmare and it’s hard to reach them. But once you do, they’re great!

I have never had an OB that not only made me feel so comfortable being open with them, but one that actually TRULY cares about your health and well being AND is willing to make decisions with you. When I told my doctors there I was uncomfortable having a procedure done in office they were completely fine with it and made sure I could do it in the hospital under anesthesia. When they discuss next steps for treatment with you they not only hear your opinion and wants, but make sure they are met. The staff here are all amazing, and there has not been one time I have came in to an attitude or a sour look. Everyone is always welcoming and sweet. I absolutely love this place and anyone who says otherwise is clearly a Carol. Highly recommend this for anyone needing an amazing OB!
