Comprehensive Pulmonary and Primary Care Physicians of Orange County

I have had a completely opposite experience with this office. In particular, Dr. Hwe, who I find personable and invested in my healthcare. For the last year he has been treating me for a lung condition and he seems genuinely interested in my progress and how I’m handling the treatment. I would highly recommend him for pulmonary conditions. In addition, the office staff have been very efficient scheduling follow visits, test and imaging referrals.

Took a family member here for a Consult with Dr Hwe, he is an acquired taste....its either you like him or you dont there is nothing in between. He is very knowledgable and very open to comments and suggestions which i appreciate however he is all business which to be honest i am fine with that, i am not there to be his friend i am there to help me diagnose and treat a family member. However i know most people like physicians to be relatable and approachable which in this case he is not that man. Staffing however is abysmal you walk in there and the people in the front checking you in looks like they dont want to be there. not very welcoming to patients. My Mom saw Dr. Christopher Hwe and he seemed good until it came time to get results of her CT scan. Dr. Hwe said he would call as soon as he got the results. He never did, so my mom called to get them and the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Said they had the results but couldn't tell her what they said and would have the doctor call her. Dr. never called her. She called again and had to request to speak to the office manager who also was extremely rude and unhelpful. She will not be coming back here due to the terrible patient care she received. Shame on them!

Front desk is rude and patronizing over the phone. Loved my appointments previously with the doctor and NP/PAs here, and have never had an issue with the staff in the office. However, when calling, the receptionist I spoke to was unfriendly and unprofessional. Pretty disappointing considering all my other experiences here have been positive.
