Comprehensive Pain Center

First I want to thank the front desk staff for having a welcoming environment. Secondly I thought that I actually found a caring pain management doctor DR. BELL! who actually cared about my quality of life. that expectation went down the drain when I was only offered one treatment THAT WAS 400$ WITH INSURANCE, and I didn’t have an option for what actually helped in the past. Not only were my options declined.. but I was basically forced on a medication, and basically told there was nothing else they could do for me. It took a month for the medication I was forced on to be approved by my insurance after multiple prior authorizations. after calling trying to get other options.. dr bell’s colleagues basically told me there was nothing they could do for me. I was left to suffer without my pain

My 2:45 appointment turned into an hour long wait with no communication about the delay. I was told I would be getting 2 shots, but due to a mix up I only received 1. Despite filling out allergy info online, staff didn’t have it and dismissed my offer to provide a list. Dr Pitkanen and most of the staff were pleasant, however the nurse in the procedure room would’ve made Nurse Ratched proud. Overall poor communication and disorganization overshadowed the positives.

Comprehensive Pain Center is truly a wonderful place filled with kind and caring healthcare providers. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed—the front desk ladies are always so helpful and friendly with check-in. I’ve been seeing Dr. Brooke Bell for about a year and a half for epidural steroid shots in my lower back after a serious fall, and I can’t say enough good things about her and the staff. The medical team does an excellent job preparing me for the procedure, and Dr. Bell is always smiling, compassionate, and thorough in explaining everything—from the process to the risks—while making sure I never leave with unanswered questions. This was my first time meeting with this pain management specialist. He and his staff are super fast very clean very compliant due to covid . They make you feel very comfortable and the atmosphere is comforting . He himself is very cheery , you would think someone who is looking mainly at complaining or persons very sick has a very bright and sunny innerG. We did some talking and I will inform you of our Dr patient results as he months ensue. But if you are looking for an excellent pain center I would start here first . Thank you Dr for making me comfortable.
