Comprehensive Dermatology

At age 11, every two weeks for two years they poked and prodded and did everything possible for the highest insurance payout, even when it wasn't in my best interest. They knew I'd end up on accutane at the end of it anyway...I might have avoided acne scars. I am also left with permanent scars on my body after asking to have a few spots removed.. Office staff even warned and said "don't let him (Dr. A) do the biopsy" but when he walked in, he said there wouldn't be scarring. Over 15 years later and I still see the scars everyday.

I was seen in early December. The visit was rushed and a lot of interventions were enacted upon me without my permission including a biopsy. I asked if everything was covered by insurance and they said yes multiple times. Upon leaving I went to pay my copay and they said it was “all good.” When the biopsy site seemed infected and I contacted them I got no follow up care. I’ve just received an almost $300 bill. Poor care. No transparency on cost. No follow up care. Don’t go here.

I wouldn't go back to Dr. Abittan Sr if I suspected I had skin cancer and he was the last dermatologist on Earth. An extremely arrogant, old-school doctor who will spend a maximum of five minutes with you, not listen to anything you say or ask, while simultaneously projecting an infallible smugness.

I called to make an appointment between 09/26/25 1:10pm-1:15 pm the receptionist hung up the phone stating there was static on the line without warning. Is this whom you employ to take calls ? When i called back she stated she could not hear. I heard her perfectly fine, didn’t attempt to call back or even ask me to call be before abruptly disconnecting the call.

Dr Abittan is an amazing , caring and very knowledgeable dermatologist. Great reactive with professional staff
