Complete Neurological Care

They haven’t told me before the visit that they stopped taking insurance. Even at check-in , they didn’t tell anything. Only after the visit, When we were leaving they told us to pay for the visit and they stopped taking insurance. They should have told us before that they stopped taking insurance. This should have been communicated before so patient can decide whether to proceed. Patient deserves clear communication upfront, not surprise charges after the visit.

For almost a month my family has been trying to get a prior authorization approved for my younger brother's seizure medication through the Valley Stream office, and unfortunately, we received little to no help despite repeated calls and follow-ups. Nothing was getting done, and the delays were putting a lot of unnecessary stress on our family. After an accidental transfer, I was connected to the Hicksville location, and that turned everything around. Even though my brother is not a patient at this office, the receptionist chose to help us when she absolutely did not have to. She immediately took action, submitted the prior authorization, and had it approved within an hour. Doctors team is very professional & gentle. Need to change front desk staff. Fort desk girl didn’t send out my complete documents to insurance for 3 weeks. Finally I have to come in office to get it done by telling doctor. No politeness & bad attitude.

I’m blessed the doctor sent me for an MRA, there was an incidental find. However I got the results before my doctor did so when I called to talk to Dr C to see if my results needed emergency services, the front desk female was so NASTY, no miscommunication she understood my need she was just disgustingly nasty with her responses and not compassionate or trying to help at all. I need to see a surgeon and they were supposed to send me my referral but they never did! Dr. C gave basic care for a neurologist nothing above and beyond, uses words like, maybe we can try this or I guess this is.. unprofessional verbiage for a doctor. Oh there’s allegedly no office manager either. If I ever have a need for a neuro I’m going to a corporate office with a chain of command this place is beyond disgustin

My first time at CNC. Receptionist was courteous and the office environment was very nice. Wait time was short and Dr. Cacella was very nice and listened to my issues attentively. She recommended a test right away and it went very smoothly. Definitely would recommend CNC and Dr. Cascella to others.
