Complete Care at Harrington Court

If you must send a loved one to Harrington Court, please be very diligent. Keep a close eye on your family member. Complete Care used to have a 5 star rating and now they have a 3. Communication is poor. The Director and Director of nursing are very hands off and do not respond well enough or fast enough to concerns. There is a case manager who is a good ally but she is very overworked. Support staff like receptionists , aides, food staff and some of the nursing are great. Both of my parents were in this facility x 3 months inly because Norwichtown Rehab didnt have a bed when my Mom got out of the hospital. This facility spilled scalding hot coffee on my father in bed and didnt respond fast enough. He suffered 2nd degree burns and it took 2 months to heal. Also convinced physica

Reason for my rating is location & most staff. Food wasnt always best but the staff that make it and deliver it are great! Some updating in some areas needs attention equipment or furniture ect. But overall the care for my mom is what counts! It takes a special kind of person to work with senior people who need all levels of care at all times of day/night to work here. I dont believe these workers are really truly appreciated enough.The staff i have met have been polite, friendly, helpful, patient, nurturing individuals who deserve more. There definitely should be more of them but those who show up every day to do this type of job should be appreciated! Harrington Court was Genesis Healthcare and bought out in 2021 by Complete Care Management LLC. The current Harrington Court received a 1 star because of the complete lack of compassion for the patients by the Administrative Team. Patients do not receive medication on time and if asked about it you cannot get timely answers. I spoke to admin about this issue. It shouldn’t take 4 trips to the nurses station to get Tylenol. If I ask when was the last dose I expect someone to type in the patient name and retrieve the information promptly. My experience this Jan of 2026 and the passing of my mother was unacceptable. My mother was left in pain & suffering. Hospice was witness to the lack of Tylenol or any pain med. Hospice was told morphine on site only to have mom not receive it because there

My father was admitted to the hospital the day he left here with severe dehydration. His kidneys are failing and he is renal failure. This place is neglectful. I asked what medication my father was currently on when I was there to double check his meds were right. 3 people had to track down a nurse who I overheard swearing in the office about my request to know what information. I'm horrified my dad had to spend time here. We are contacting a lawyer for negligence. They turned him into a zombie, left him dehydrated to the point of kidney damage and lied about his condition. Luckily his stay there wasn't overly long but we are a family who looks after one another. What happened to him was atrocious. He was there to recover after surgery and get better and left 1000 times worse. Neglectful.

Nice clean facility. Very cordial staff helpful coming and going. It’s been a long time since I visited someone there and I must say you’ve kept the place clean and neat. You do appear to be shorthanded at times entering and leaving sometimes it’s difficult to get through the front door. Note I am only a visitor
