My husband is a patient of Dr. Tafari, and I am completely disappointed in the professionalism and accountability of this practice. Having been a patient with Kaiser Permanente and Wellstar Health Systems, I know what excellent, coordinated care looks like; unfortunately, this experience has been the opposite. My husband required FMLA paperwork following a surgery performed while he was deployed in another state. His surgeon instructed him to follow up with his PCP, who would then refer him to wound care for a treatment plan. Despite the hospital contacting Community MD directly with instructions, we arrived at the PCP appointment only to find the doctor seemingly unaware of the situation. ::Sighs:: Where do I begin? This place was amazing when Dr. Ash was here. Since the change it has just been terrible! The wait times are 30-45 min to get in the back and 1.5 hours to be seen. I have to call about prescription A REPEATEDLY. Don’t need a follow through like prior authorization, it’ll just never get done. Took MONTHS! Everyone is nice, just complete INEFFICIENT!!! Yes, I’m looking for a new doctor now, I am! This place has been exhausting.

Where to begin when I first started going here it was fine but if you do go here just be mindful of a few things They do mess up on billing often They won’t notify you when you owe them money they will just let it build up I recently found out from insurance company that they been charging my account up to 657 dollars they tried to blame it on my insurance but they are filing claims incorrectly which I have evidence to back that up. It’s sad because I love Dr tafari but his staff is a nightmare they are rude and their billing department is a joke. Now I’ll have to be on a payment plan because they messed up! Used to be amazing when it was just Dr. Ash and his staff but ever since it became CommunityMD a couple of years ago it has been downhill. I called the office and was informed Dr. Ash is no longer at the clinic. Dr. Ash was the only reason anyone would tolerate the incompetence and unprofessionalism of this clinic. I DO NOT recommend this clinic to anyone. If you choose to go there, be prepared for long wait times—expect to be there 2 to 3 hours past your scheduled appointment—and to fill out excessive paperwork every few months as if you were a new patient. CommunityMD seems more focused on making money, running unnecessary tests to maximize insurance claims or charges to customers, rather than genuinely helping people. My husbands appointment was at 10 am. Once he was called to the back, he was completely forgotten about. He was not seen until 11:45! Then when the doctor does come in she was rude and basically rushing my husband when he had questions at the end. We will NOT be back here.
