Community Memorial Hospital: Emergency Room

We had the misfortune of using this ER. We never saw the same staff member twice and each one promised further care that never materialized including pain medication and even an ice pack for a broken foot. We listened to multiple staff outside our bed have an extended social conversation including loud boisterous laughter and a discussion of other patients which was completely inappropriate and disturbing. Finally, we are in California traveling to Washington and the vicious ghoul of a doctor, who we never saw or spoke to, refused to give us any prescription for any pain meds whatsoever- - for a broken bone in her foot even though it means many agonizing hours in a car to get home. Nothing! I’ve been in an ER many times and worked in one for years and this one stands out for terrible care

No Emergency No care! Nurses and doctors are extremely careless and disorganized. You are asked a long list of questions about your symptoms, pain, and condition, and within minutes they clearly have no idea what you told them. There is zero privacy. Your personal medical information symptoms, pain, and suffering is discussed loudly and publicly, with no respect or professionalism. Staff speak rudely and dismissively, as if patients do not matter one of them name Eileen This is not emergency care. It is a ZOO

My daughter has been sitting in the ER waiting room for 2 1/2 hours in pain after injury with no pain management I asked if while we waited to be seen if she could have something for her pain i was told yes and im still waiting after 1 hr

If you want to die go there smh 🤦‍♀️ they totally forgot about us my poor mom didn’t even get proper care will never return to this unprofessional hospital

I came in yesterday due to a knee injury. I already knew it was not a fracture but it was a possible tear or strain. They only did x-rays told me they don’t do MRI’s when I requested one due to the fact that they only have one machine and they will only do it if it’s life threatening. I understood. I was told by the RN that they were going to prescribe medication and asked what pharmacy. I called the pharmacy and they said they didn’t receive the order. I called CMH ER back was transferred and told me that, that was never recorded and i can just buy it over the counter and was so rude on the phone, and one of the nurses who was there was not the friendliest. I have had good experiences there which is why I went. I will def not go back.
