Community Care Rotterdam

I was a patient of community care Rotterdam for several years/my whole adult life and have had some pretty significant medical events for a young person. Rotterdam Family practice was always there for referrals and visits when I needed them. I never missed a scheduled appointment and always paid all my copays and bills. When I decided to have kids back to back, I had to mostly use my OB/GYN for health issues as a PCP, and I did refrain from scheduling well visits with community care rotterdam at that time. I recently suffered a medical event that resulted in an ER visit, and upon discharge I was told to see my PCP for some referrals to neurology and vascular. I had a lab appointment today with Mahailee, she was excellent. Very friendly and courteous. She gets kudos for getting blood drawn 1st time I have had other phlebotomists draw before and was stuck more than once and ended up with bruises. She was very engaging which made the experience go quick and tolerable I hope she stays at FPR. 😊

I’ve been going to this practice for years and have always had such a great experience! Today, I went in for lab work and Mahailee was such a breath of fresh air. She was so comforting during an anxiety provoking time for me, and listened to what has helped me before. Honestly, she is the best phlebotomist I’ve come across - I felt nothing, it was painless!! I loved seeing her office decorated for the holidays, too :)

I typically am the type of person who hates needles which includes getting my bloodwork done! However this time Katelynn and Mahailee did a phenomenal job at drawing my blood! Katelynn made sure I didn’t feel a thing and Mahailee talked to me the entire time to distract me from the needle going into my arm! I would highly recommend anyone with a fear of needles like I did to go to this location to see these wonderful ladies!

I am so very pleased with your employee , Mahailee! Not only does she only take one time to find a vein, as opposed to 4 times at other labs,she reminded me to get my flu shot! I always forget my flu shot! I was able to have my blood drawn and get my flu shot!! So grateful to her compassion and professionalism, you just gotta love her!!
