CommonSpirit St. Francis Hospital

I went in on Saturday was told in my discharge. If it got worse or any changes to come back in, I returned Sunday. I was refused pain medication treatment. I was told that the letter from my doctor is not acceptable because it's a 2025, September. And she said that she was going to access my port, the nurse put me in a room that only had a curtain to access me. Then, it proceeded to put me out in the lobby. So everybody could stare at my chest, I was humiliated, I was embarrassed and I felt violated when they went to deaccess my port. The nurse took the opsite off, but left the needle in and left the room to go find somebody to show her out, take it out. I do go to the hospital quite a few times and I'm always having this problem. My condition is a very rare condition. They don't know how

I had a major back surgery yesterday and I can not say it enough how tentative and informative the hospital staff was. They were so kind and caring… really warms my heart to know there are still people that care, and the whole hospital staff (from checking in to every interaction with all hospital staff) really made me feel they were there to take care of me… and showed it. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. My husband had back surgery in Dec. at Tacoma General and we did not get the same kind treatment that I did at St. Francis…

The emergency room workers were quick about getting me checked in and started the blood draws and fluids right away. The nurses on the 3rd floor were fantastic. They were very attentive and explained everything really well. It's not fun being in the hospital, but it was a pleasant experience there.

Came in for ovarian cyst pain. My first visit here was actually great, so I walked in expecting the same vibe. Unfortunately, this time felt like I interrupted everyone’s group sigh session. Nurse Ashley, a chubby, redheaded nurse with glasses, seemed annoyed from the moment I got there. The hallway crew also looked like they were counting down the minutes until their shift ended. Not exactly the warm, comforting energy you hope for when you’re dealing with ovarian pain. After being discharged, I started feeling pain again while waiting for my husband to pick me up. We live about 35 minutes away, so I figured I’d ask for some naproxen or ibuprofen before the long ride home. Ashley hit me with, “Well, did you ask the doctor for pain meds?” in a tone that suggested I had just asked for a lux

They helped me feel comfortable and safe to have my baby. All the nurses were a great help during and after my delivery. Doctor Le helped me a lot during labor with his extensive experience, without putting my life or my baby's at risk, even though it was a high-risk pregnancy from the very beginning. My baby was born very healthy and there were no complications, thank God. It was the right place to give birth.
