Comfort Dental - North Lakewood

I can’t say enough about how everyone was so kind. The Doctor was very thorough. He listened to my concerns and took his time explaining everything and made sure I understood. He was friendly and put me at ease. I left there feeling welcomed and cared for. Also- You get a sense that everyone who works there enjoys their work environment. I was referred by a friend and I’m so thankful she did!

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for the comfort dental in Lakewood for years now. I’ve never needed any significant dental work, so while the dentist seems great, the review is mostly for my hygienist and the supporting staff. They always take me back to be seen on time and my hygienist does such a thorough job. They also see my 2 kids and do a fantastic job with them as well; always patient, kind and thorough.

Dr May and staff are great. Flexible scheduling, friendly and skilled staff, convenient location with easy parking. Have had several appointments with Dr May and Staff with fantastic results. Had an implant and crown done which went extremely well due to Dr May’s skilled hands. The lab work (crowns and implants) are the best quality I have ever had. They also offer sedation dentistry if necessary.

It was our first time visiting Comfort Dental. I was grateful they were able to take my daughter in on the day I called. Front desk ladies were helpful and answered all my questions. Larisa was very friendly and kind to my daughter which made her feel at ease. Dr. May was also very personable with my daughter and explained the process of her treatment thoroughly. Very satisfied with my visit! Definitely will be coming back.

My review is not about the dental staff. We actually really like them and their work. My issue is with billing. We were quoted $498 for work that was needed, which the same day we were contacted and told that was incorrect and it would be closer to $800. Totally fine with that. When the work was done we were billed $255 and later about $1255 more. A pretty decent amount over the quote, but I understand it was a quote and that changes when insurance is actually ran. Now three months later I receive a bill for an additional $600 and have thirty days to pay. That is a drastic difference from the quote and it's incredibly inconsiderate to just send someone a bill like that with no information. Furthermore, it's hilarious that you can take three months to tell us additional money is owed, to no
