Columbia Memorial Hospital

I recently had a colonoscopy at CMH. Dr Van Dusen and every member of her team were outstanding. I admired how well everyone worked together with good humor and compassionate competence. Before, during, and after, I was given thorough instructions and I felt very well cared for. My thanks to all of you.

I was well taken care of at the CMH emergency room. The doctors & nurses treated me with kindness, compassion, & great comfort. I was feeling half dead when I dragged myself in and was helped to feel better right away. Dr. Meira, nurses Whitney & Shanley in the ER are great! They quickly figured out what was wrong & gave me good advice to stay in the hospital. When I was later admitted I got great treatment from Dr. Hinckley, and wonderful attention from nurses Savannah, Angie, Nancy, Kari, Bonnie, Shannon, Ellie, Dayn, & probably others who I don’t have names. I am very thankful I was able to get treatment so quickly & professionally nearby.

Update: we came into the er thinking it was an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. Doctors completely ignored symptoms and continued to give me the antibiotic. At OSHU, they confirmed it was an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. I almost died. We will be suing CMH I cannot imagine how this hospital could be worse. I went to the ER for 11 hours on Tuesday only to have several nurses and doctors ignore every symptom I came in with other than the least problematic one. When I would talk about, for example, my swollen lymph nodes and chills, they told me it wasn’t significant enough to be a problem. I wish I could call out some of these people’s names but I cannot remember anyone’s name. They surprisingly got me a room, and the only people who genuinely listened to me was the nurse taking

I had some minor surgery at CMH. Everyone from the check in, to SDS, to the Operating room, then back to my room on the floor were absolutely awesome! Very, very professional! Mandy, Leah, Candice, Rylee, Carrisa, Claire & Dr. Anderson! Were Marvelous! Thank all of you so much!!

The surgical team at CMH is fantastic. They are very professional, but caring and supportive. From the moment I walked in I knew I could relax. I was in good hands. Dr Zimmerman is wonderful surgeon and caring person who puts you at ease. I so appreciate his skills and bedside manner. Thank you to all the incredible staff
