Columbia Gorge Family Medicine

Went in with my husband for their after hours acute care and saw Dr Gray. He was great and was very knowledgeable about patient resources and even looked up med prices for us. It is very competitive for acute care services as they are one of the only options, so get there at 4:30 to wait and check in right at 4:45, and you still might wait longer. We were lucky and seen first since we arrived so early. They only have so many slots so at least you will likely know within the hour if you are going to be seen. Great care and affordable price for a walk in here in Hood River.

I have experienced incredibly poor customer service at Columbia Gorge Family Medicine. I asked to be placed on a waiting list for a female physician. Not a big demand. I was told in a very condescending manner that there is no waiting list. I asked to speak to the clinic manager to understand how the process works. I was told (very rudely) there is no mechanism in place to be added to a physician’s panel now or in the future. Not only a poor system, no system! I have been seen one time at CGFM. I take two common medications which I listed including dosage on my intake paperwork and at my visit. It took multiple phone calls, emails to the clinic and visits to the pharmacy to get my medications ordered correctly. The dosage of one medication was changed without a discussion with me. On-board

We’ve been taking our family to Columbia Gorge Family Medicine and couldn’t be happier with the care we’ve received. I’ve been seen there through two pregnancies along with both of my kids, and every experience has been great. CGFM always manages to fit us in when we need it. All the providers we have worked with have been wonderful - compassionate, and personal care that has made such a difference, especially with kids. The whole team is professional and clearly cares about their patients. I feel lucky to have this practice in our community.

We’ve been coming to Columbia Gorge Family Medicine since our son was born, the staff is always polite and welcoming, Edgar is always amazing with our boy. We will continue to come back!

At 8:15am I checked in at LabCore to get my blood drawn. At 10:00am I got called up to the window and was told that the system did not register me correctly and that there were 6 people ahead of me. I'm a rather patient patient and am considering taking my health care elsewhere.
