Colonial Health and Rehab

First let me start off by saying I was very worried about my grandmother going to a rehab center but Sylvia the admissions staff had no problem answering my thousand questions and easing my mind. My grandmothers room was very clean, and the all the nurses was super sweet and nice. Her mattress was dull and we did ask to change it and they gave her a whole new bed. No complaints even down to the front desk staff being welcoming everytime a family member entered the room. Only downer is there were no phones in the room but they have phones amongst the nurses stations if you need to call in. I’d recommend Colonial Health to any family!

I work in Home Health and feel it is my obligation to post positive reviews when I have patients who express a positive experience. My most recent patient discharged from Colonial Rehab he informed me he had a rather pleasant experience at this facility. There were a few hiccups, but Adam the administrator handled them swiftly and effectively. He also said the clinical staff were amazing and that the food was weirdly rather delicious, almost at restaurant quality. He even joked he may pop back over when he is healed up to simply have dinner!

I was visiting a friend at Colonial Health and Rehab and made a point to observe the staff, because you hear so many negative things about nursing homes. I was pleasantly surprised. The facility was clean, and the staff took the time to answer all of my questions. They appeared attentive and genuinely engaged with the patients, not rushed or dismissive. I also observed a unit manager, I believe her name was Crystal, who truly stood out. She was extremely caring toward the patients and spoke to the staff with kindness and respect in her voice.
