I was billed a copay by Dr. Mikhail I. Rakhmanine after an ER visit at Lehigh Valley Hospital — even though I never spoke to him, never saw him, and was never examined by him. I clearly and repeatedly told the ER physician that I did not need or want a CT scan. Despite this, Dr. Rakhmanine recommended one through the ER team anyway, triggering and additional $13,000 in charges that I did not consent to. Meanwhile, my actual colorectal surgeon, Dr. David Bub was the only colorectal physician who took the time to visit me. This is not just about money. This is about consent, transparency, and basic medical ethics. Being billed by a physician I never met or authorized raises serious concerns. This procedure is always one that you don’t look forward to. I have to admit, the whole experience was very professional and well planned. Everyone did great and were very pleasant and knew their jobs. Highly recommend

Works with you regarding your surgical and non-surgical options. Very compassionate throughout the surgical process, until pain relief needs come into play. Have contacted the doctor post operation multiple times but have received no further relief for the admittedly 'very painful procedure.' Despicable.

I had surgery with the doctor here. After my final follow up I noticed a slight increase in pain and bleeding, I contacted the office on three occasions and directly messages the doctor on the patient portal twice. I was completely ignored. Now I’m going to have to look for a new doctor because I don’t think I healed correctly. I suspect there may be a small chronic wound internally, and I feel like this is the result of neglect from my care team when I reached out for more direction.

Overall, the waiting time was manageable, the clinic is clean and organized. I met with Dr. Michael Johns for an assessment, he did a great job answering all my questions and explaining everything to me thoroughly. He knows what he's doing and took his time without rushing, so he immediately gained my trust after first meeting him. I would absolutely recommend him to everyone.
