Coastline Clinic is a new offering of health services in Destin. I made an appointment with them to receive a platelet-rich plasma (prp) injection to address long-standing moderate shoulder pain. I was warmly greeted by nurse Peyton and shortly thereafter by PA Donald Thomas. They worked as a team for the procedure. Donald spent time patiently explaining each step as he gently manipulated my shoulder to pinpoint the origin of the pain. Blood was then taken from my arm and spun to produce the needed separation. That was then injected into two previously identified spots. Throughout there was only minor discomfort. I was impressed with their skill and long-acquired experience in doing this procedure.
