Co operative Care Center

I recently was hospitalized at Rhode Island Hospital co op 3 RM 324-2. I can't tell you how WONDERFUL EVERYONE that worked on that floor was. I owe them EVERYTHING from being admitted to the Dr's, NURSE'S CNA'S, DIETARY, CLEANING the WHOLE experience from someone that was very sick and depressed These Beautiful People were there for EVERY NEED I NEEDED. Thank You ALL at co op 3

Absolutely horrifying. The standard of care was shocking and exceptionally poor, with only one or two staff members seeming to care or have any patient care knowledge. From the panic to misreading pulse as O2 sats to the missing call bell to the completely unresponsive staff to waiting 3 1/2 hours for discharge because the pharmacy had to bring up regular strength Tylenol, this unit is seriously compromised. I understand that people use Covid as a blanket excuse for everything healthcare related right now, but in twenty years of nursing, I have never witnessed such ineptitude or such poor patient care. I pray for those who don't have family members to advocate for them. I would never place another family member in this unit for any reason.

This place gives horrible treatment to their patients. My dad was admitted here and was neglected. He was not given any food for over 19 hours even after his surgery. We could not even contact his nurse and were told to wait for 1-2 hours to call back because the nurse was "busy" and "unavailable" multiple times. He was not even allowed access to his phone and we only recieved details from my dad from the hospital phone. PLEASE DON'T EVER GO HERE!

Nurses are Caring an very Supportive to their patients an Families. I know my Son an he is very needy. But is the good man deep inside Thank for being there.
