Dr Carr came to the IME dressed as if he was going to Margaritaville. Asked a few questions made me bend and lift my arms and said I was completely fine. He must not of read my medical papers. I had 2 surgeries on my neck, fused and caged (C4-C7 and T1). I have limited mobility (head & neck) and can’t bend my head backwards. Have a pin in my left shoulder and rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder- can’t reach behind my back with either arm. Have issues with lower back L4-5 and S1 can’t bend over to put socks on nor sit longer than 45 minutes. Had 3 epidurals which did not relieve any pain. Can’t sleep through the night without getting up 2-3 times. I’m still going to pt (4 yrs) and go to a chiropractor once a month (1-1/2 yrs) with no limited/no improvement. If I could give a ne

Was seen the day I called for arthritic knee swelling, Robert aspirated it, novocaine and cortisone. Very gentle, informed me along the way what he was going to do. So much relief this office I have gone to for over 20 years and they are absolutely the best!! Dr Carr performed shoulder surgery on my husband with great results.

I have had 3 visits with Dr. Carr, after reading these negatives reviews I was hesitant to attend my first appointment. I need not have been. Dr. Carr was pleasant, professional, and put me at ease. I felt comfortable talking to him about my issue and understood he was hired to just do his job. If not for his recommendation I would not have gotten approval for my needed treatment. Perhaps these negative commends reflect the authors attitude, not Dr. Carr's professional opinion.

Last year I saw Dr. Carr for an IME. My left (dominant) hand and wrist were casted, a definite impediment to examination. He stated he would instead do a "record review." However, the report he submitted chronicled a full examination and recommended I return to work without restriction. With a cast on my dominant hand! Months later (cast removed), I was scheduled for another IME with Dr. Carr. This time the pain in my hand and wrist was so bad that I could not drive. The WC insurance carrier hired transportation so I could attend the appointment. However, they called a transport service in Buffalo and asked them to pick me up in Williamsville, even though I live two counties away in Williamson. As a result, we arrived at the appointment 15 minutes late, and Dr. Carr refused to see

If you've received notice that you need to have an IME regarding a workers compensation claim and the "doctor" performing the exam is Daniel Carr, do yourself a favor and immediately hire a workers comp attorney you're probably going to need one. If you are seeking out Dr Carr for his Orthopedic services please make yourself comfortable with the fact that you are putting your health, safety and possibly your life in the hands of a Doctor who is more then happy to lay his professional ethics to one side for hard cash and has been doing so for many years. You have so many other choices regarding your Orthopedic care. Please choose another physician.
