Clinicas East Simi Valley Health Center

Had an appt for my son At 4:45 on a Wednesday, rushed home from studio city to get him there for them to tell me that the doctor didn’t show up that day not a phone call. Nothing letting me know. Very disappointed..

There are NO DOCTORS at this clinic only PA. Lately, I’ve been bumping into lots little issues at East Simi Clinicas. 1st example) There seems to be a disconnect with medication prescription / Auto/renewals. I have to constantly follow up with Clinicas to approve refills that my pharmacist submits. The front desk admins are good, they always try to accommodate me and my family with appointments. 2nd example) I arrived 2 min late to an appointment, the front desk tried to get me in, but the provider would not allow my 2min tardiness and I lost my appointment. In my opinion, the Providers or Back office can be a little more sympathetic. My family and I have been long time Clínica members, way back to the Roberto Juarez era. I am so satisfied with my visit! Dr. Setto, Amanda was very attentive and caring. I've never had an optometrist notice my astigmatism before. :) Best contacts I've ever had! The staff could have a better attitude, but besides that, Im happy.

This location was extremely helpful! They answered MANY questions that I have tried getting answers thru the referral dept at the Madera location FOR MONTHS but am never able to receive return msgs (text/phone.) Many times I have called and the phone just rings. I understand that people are busy but this is just bad business! The staff at this location, esp the NP were awesome. I am really grateful that I went. I have a bit of restored faith that the meniscus tear in my knee will actually get an orthopedic doctor to help me before I do more damage to it! Going on 3 months!!!

After my divorce 5 years ago, I lost my medical insurance which was carried by my Ex-Husband. Clinicas has been very helpful in getting me the proper doctors and medications for my chronic pain condition. In addition, they assisted in putting my life back together with Women's Health, Mental Health, Dental Services and Chiropractic which were pleasant bonuses! I even take my 13 year old daughter there for chiropractic as they fo take all kinds of insurances and my daughter is still covered under my ex-husbands work plan. The only part about Clinicas I don't like is how to schedule an appointment. You need to call a central call center for your first appointment and may have to wait weeks before your appointment. I recommend making your appts in person if you can. Other than that, my expe
