Clineva Urgent Care | Lake Forest

I had a good experience at Concentra Urgent Care in Lake Forest. The staff were polite and helpful, and the place was clean and organized. The wait time was reasonable, and the doctor took time to explain everything. Overall, great service — just a little room for improvement with waiting time.

Went to the ER three times this week for severe muscle stiffness, pain, and fainting only to be told I had anxiety. Went to Clineva and they did proper tests to find out I had exertional rhabdo. My kidney function dropped 27% temporarily! The doctors here actually listened to me. The provider I liked the most was Dr. Amy Neterer. She asked how my family was doing because she remembers all of us. She also prayed with me. Because of their care, I was able to figure out what’s wrong and then flush my kidneys and blood stream with tons of fluids. I also avoided doing another workout which would’ve triggered a third relapse and possibly permanent kidney damage and death. I have gone to this urgent care many times. In the past i have always been happy with my treatment. Today i went in because i pulled out my lower back. I have pulled my back out other times in life but this time is a pain that is unbearable. I have been in the worst pain to the point that i can barely walk, my blood pressure is elevated from the pain its absoluty awful. I recieved a steroid shot from them and they said the will call me in a steroid pack and flexril. 2 hours after i left i called them back because only my flexril was called into CVS. My pain has just gotten worse since i left. I called and asked if there is anything else that can help...again this is unbearable and i feel i have a high tolerance for pain. I had an unexpectedly great experience at Clineva Emergency. First of all—no 4-hour wait like at the hospital ER, which was a huge relief. The entire staff was professional, efficient, and truly caring. As soon as I arrived, I couldn’t even walk in with crutches—they immediately came out with a wheelchair to help me inside. If I had to keep using the crutches, I probably would’ve collapsed right there. I was dizzy, had zero balance, and couldn’t put any pressure on my foot at all. I also want to give a special shoutout to the X-ray technician—he was absolutely amazing! So kind, gentle, and thoughtful. This Urgent Care is very clean, and the staff are excellent. Miranda, at the front desk, is very professional, pleasant, and courteous. Front staff make such a difference, and she was great! She helped me out as a walk-in patient and was very clear and kind. I didn't have to wait long. The MA/X-ray techs John and Joseph were awesome and helpful. I was there for a TB test so I didn't need to see the provider, but Dustin seemed like he "fit" the positive vibe of the place. Thank you for the great experience.
