I had severe back pain for many years that recently involved injections and a Rhizotomy. Dr. McLaren has helped relieve my back pain. He is easy to talk with, shows concern and will assist when there is an issue. For the first time in a long time, I'm feeling better and I trust that this time around I will finally be free of this severe back pain. The staff is also great! They assisted in getting the approval for the Rhizotomy by working with me and my insurance company. Setting appointments is easy as well. The professionalism at this establishment is exemplary!

On the phone and in person, the receptionist was super friendly, and Dr. McLaren was so down-to-earth and interested in understanding what was going on with my pain. He was thorough yet time-efficient, and I already feel much better! I’m grateful my PCP recommended him.

This is my third visit and I have been extremely pleased with all staff. They’re friendly, caring and compassionate. Dr. McLaren is a blessing. He actually takes time asking me questions to better understand my pain and he listens to what I have to say. He genuinely wants to help me so that I can continue to live life to the fullest. And I have never felt rushed. This means so much especially since surgery is not an option for me at this time.

I had my Spinal Stimulator placed on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 for a trial therapy for seven days to help with my neuropathic pain that affect my bilateral feet and hand's. Dr. McLaren and staff are outstanding in every aspect of their care for me. Sincerely, Nancy Finlen .

Very well run office. Caring, compassionate and capable staff. Alana has been very accommodating and kind. Dr. McLaren is also compassionate and skilled in treating my various complaints. I'm new to Charleston and am very happy & relieved I found this practice!
