I highly recommend Clapps to anyone who needs love and care. Everyone I encountered made me feel welcome, from the receptionists to the nurses, Cnas, and Social workers.My Mom couldn't have been in better hands. The place was clean, the view from her room unique and the food was delicious, her words, not mine. Thanks to everyone for giving my Mom the best care she could've asked for.

When my 80-year-old mother was admitted to Clapps for rehab after a recent hospital stay for pneumonia, we were understandably apprehensive. She has COPD and had previously experienced a traumatic stay at another rehab facility, where we were both treated horribly. That experience left her terrified and made us wary of skilled nursing facilities altogether. Clapps completely changed our perception. From the moment she arrived, the staff has been nothing but kind, gentle, and attentive. They treat her like family, ensuring she is not only well cared for but also comfortable, valued, and truly spoiled. When my father suffered a significant medical event that left him unable to transition back home, Clapp’s was there for us. My dad was loved and treated with respect and love. The staff at Clapp’s goes above and beyond to give the best experience to the residents! Without question I would recommend Clapp’s PG or Asheboro to anyone needing short term care or in the event you need to place a loved one in their care. You will always be able to lay your head down at night knowing they are being cared for and loved

Clapps Nursing Home is truly amazing. My mother had battled dementia for nearly 3 years, with additional health issues. My mother was first placed at an assisted living facility, High Point Regional hospital, Beacon Place, then Clapps, as my mother was deteriorating . You either received a call or email daily with updates. My mother passed December 19th of this year. They were so kind, sincere, just very caring. In honor of my mother, we had asked for donations to be made to Clapps, they are amazing, and hopefully we can honor them as well. Everyone has truly been amazing, Kelly Adams, the unit manager is truly a caring individual! Thank you all for your kindness! ,

I give zero stars! If you have family here, take them out!! Dont put your family at ANY Clapps nursing homes even if it's for rehabilitation. We had the worst experience at the one in Asheboro and had to take my grandma out as she kept declining. They were letting her starve and telling us she was dying. She became dehydrated and they gave morphine, again saying she was dying and couldn't eat. We finally got her out of there and to the hospital and it turns out she had an esophagus hernia and the esophagus was the size of a dime, so she couldn't eat. Clapps allowed her to sit day in and out. The director told us that she wasn't a candidate for surgery or fluids bc she had "controlled heart failure" The director acted in place of a doctor and told us all of these things and seemed to be
