She is incredibly friendly, informative, patient, caring, and warm — truly everything you could want in a dentist. I first started seeing Dr. Kwakye shortly after the pandemic shutdown. Like many people, I had a few dental issues that had developed or needed follow-up after that period, and I was a little nervous about getting back into dental care. I just had the best dentist experience I’ve ever had at CK Family Dental. Every person that helped me—the person in the phone who helped me schedule the appointment, the people working at the check-in desk, the person who took my x-rays, the dental hygienist who did my cleaning, and Dr. Somlar—were so lovely, patient, professional, and transparent with me every step of the way. They explained everything clearly and discussed payment transparently. They left me with a brighter smile and a goody bag! I can’t recommend this office enough. I can’t believe that I am going to say this, but…I can’t wait to go back!

Dr. Kwakye has always taken care of me and truly puts her patients’ best interests first. I’ve always been scared of the dentist, but thanks to her care and compassion, I’ve been able to move past that fear.
