CityMD White Plains Urgent Care - Westchester

I had a great experience at the CityMD in White Plains on Mamaroneck Avenue. I haven't had much experience with urgent care centers, but I have heard some mixed reviews from friends/family. Everyone I interacted with at CityMD in White Plains was friendly and courteous. I only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seen. The nurse practitioner and radiology technician who treated me did excellent job, and put me at ease. I highly recommend CityMD White Plains. I would definitely go back to this urgent care.

I walked in tonight because i slammed my finger on the car door, Dr Cabral was great! Very polite, quickly took care of my issue. Would definitely recommend. Took about 30 mind from walking in to walking out.

I went in to get a STD bloodwork. I never seen a doctor nor did the doctor ever came into the room and I remember the nurse even ask the doctor if She wanted to see me. She told her no it’s OK. And I was charged as a regular doctor visit as supposed to just a blood work that I’m a covered at 100%. The fact that most of this is never broken down or explain it Ridicules the patient’s mind.

Went here last night due to intense sciatic pain and was told by the elderly female doctor that they don’t prescribe pain killers. What kind of doctor doesn’t write prescriptions? I wasn’t asking for opioids. Then she tells me to see a pain management specialist. Wasted trip to CityMD. NEVER AGAIN!

They refused to refer me to doctors and physical therapy in white plains because they only refer to summit health providers to MAKE MONEY. SCAM of an urgent care. Go to a different one. They don’t care about their patients.
