CityMD Wayne Hamburg Urgent Care - New Jersey

Overall I’d rate my experience at CityMD in Wayne a 4 (bordering on 4.5) out of 5. Recently had a walk in appointment to have my ear irrigated and flushed out due to impacted earwax. Both Regina and the PA who tended to my situation were very personable and helpful aside from being professional. Due to being a new patient plus CityMD not taking all insurances; I’m holding off on giving a perfect 5 out of 5. Though I’m pretty satisfied and would consider them as a viable urgent care option 👍

I went there this weekend because I suspected I had a kidney infection (dull constant pain, could not sleep, increased urine output, low grade fever, chills, loss of appetite). The nurses were nice and took my information, I told then I am diabetic and have been unable to exercise due to hip problems so my sugar was running high which may have caused the problem. The doctor came in and started talking about kidney stones and that I wouldn't be able to sit still if I had them. I told him I had a kidney infection not stones. He did not listen to anything I said. Then he started prodding me so hard I was on the verge of crying. Next he asked if I had a rash from shingles, I told him I got the shingles vaccine he said it didn't matter and started checking me for a rash even though I said I di

Horrible experience. They mis diagnosed my son. I had to go to the hospital for no reason since they were unsure leaving me with a bill for a few thousand dollars.

I’m very happy that I chose City MD at Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne when I couldn’t get in contact with my doctor. Personally, I loved that there was no kiosks and was able to get personal service while checking in by Yasmeiry. She also helped me on the phone prior to my visit and assured me that the doctor could definitely help me! Then the very personable scribe Karly escorted me to my room and asked me my symptoms and medications I used and was extremely sweet and kind. Then the very professional and knowledgeable doctor Meg, was great. She made me feel quite comfortable and at ease and proceeded to do testing and instructed me on my further care. My experience here was awesome. The wait time was a little lengthy, but I must say that the office was clean. The staff was nice. They were knowledgeable very respectful….the receptionist in the front was really helpful,,,
