CityMD Ramsey Urgent Care - New Jersey

I presented to urgent care after 10 days of persistent illness, with my chief complaints being fever cough with green/yellow sputum and chest pain on deep breathing. I had already tried multiple over-the-counter medications without relief, which is the reason I sought medical care. I did not come to urgent care to be advised to continue Robitussin after waiting nearly three hours. During my visit, PA Anthony Lockhart was rude and dismissive. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and the interaction felt confrontational rather than therapeutic. I was made to feel as though I was “fighting” for appropriate treatment, which should never be the case in a healthcare setting. It’s unfortunate that the policies and unprofessional reception staff will impact the review of the actual medical care provided because the doctor and nurse I saw were fine. I was given antibiotics for an infection based off of in office test results a few days ago and the full lab report came back today. I am still not feeling 100% better and based on the lab results I am concerned that the antibiotics I was prescribed are not sufficient. I called and was referred to the after care line and they rushed me off the phone saying the treatment plan was fine. I called the main desk at the office I visited again and was very rudely patronized by the man on the phone who gave no concern for my concern. I came here for an X-ray after being seen at the Montvale urgent care earlier that day. Montvale referred me to the Ramsey location for imaging. When I arrived in the evening, I explained that my knee pain had increased since the morning. My incident report states that I landed on my kneecap, and I wanted an X-ray of my knee in addition to the originally ordered left foot X-ray. The staff member I spoke with seemed reluctant and initially dismissed the request, saying she “could call” but not sounding very willing to help. They contacted Montvale, first said yes, then told me Montvale “changed their mind,” and tried to send me home. I then called the Montvale location myself. They confirmed the record could be updated, and once it was updated then Ramsey finally did the kneecap X-ray. R

My sister has cancer with 4-6 months left. Went here for a sinus infection. Had to argue to get antibiotics and they would not give here cough meds. Told her they were no good for her and that she should go to a hospital as she may have other issues. No shit! She is dying and these clowns won't even help ease things with cough meds. If you are sick this is no the place to go.

The best urgent care I have ever been to. I had glass stuck in my foot and the weight time was minimal. Everyone in there was super friendly and very knowledgeable. They took the time to get all the glass out of my foot and was able to leave with a prescription in case of infection. Couldn’t say enough great things. Amazing experience!
