CityMD Manahawkin Urgent Care - New Jersey

I brought my son in for a bad cut near his knee. He was nervous he was going to need stitches… The wait time was pretty quick and the lady that brought us to the room was really kind. The nurse practitioner Jean took care of my son. She was very friendly, took the time to explain what she was going to do and was very welcoming the whole time. My son ended up needing 9 stitches and after it was done he said it wasn’t bad at all! This was my second time at this location and both experiences were great!

Loved the practitioner Jean Holden. She actually looked and listened. However calling script into a pharmacy may not get there before you leave for the day is not helpful to the patient. Should have handed me a written script as I still have no medication. Too bad for me till maybe Monday since the pharmacy is closed on Sunday .

My last resort. Did not listen when I told them how quickly a cold turns worse with my daughter that has Down Syndrome. Told me it had to run its course, just to use over the counter medication. If I could treat it with over the counter drugs I wouldn't be there. Ended up taking her to a different urgent care 2 days later, who were very compassionate and helpful. Not everyone is text book.

Amanda, Rebecca, and Jean are AMAZING! They are now my go-to team when I need urgent care. Jean is so positive and energetic, she makes me feel better every time I see her. I’ve been in and out of medical offices my whole life (cancer survivor, remission checkups, etc.), and you can tell just by meeting them that they’re good people. As much as I don’t want to be sick again, I look forward to seeing them next time I am!

It's a shame I have to give 1 star . 0 stars . I came here for a throat infection prior I drank tea's . This kind of thing happens every year. I need antibiotics like I usually am given for something like this . They gave me nothing told me to do what I have been doing $225 out the door no results nothing worst place ever. Save your money. Ohh wait I've got more might as well not forget to mention So about 3 months ago end of suays I have to do an mmer I fractured my big toe while I was working. My company sent me here the fractured toe wasn't discovered yet Btw. So upon them giving me an x-ray they don't find nothing but severe bruising. So now they say come back in 3 days yes, every 72 hr's now I'm on workman's comp at this point Njm. So I continue to do so . 17 days. They said well the
