CityMD Mamaroneck Urgent Care - Westchester

Dr.Alexander Chasin is a horrible doctor at this urgent care. He carries himself as if he truly does NOT want to be working there, and or, to be helping sick people. To begin, he was extremely lazy toward servicing me with basic medical needs, even with providing me a doctor’s note (I never got one). Additionally, when I requested to not have a procedure performed on me- the nurse made him aware, and in front of the both of us, he denied it. He pressured and verbally forced me into doing it, so when the results came back negative, he felt a way about it. Instead of apologizing or showing care regarding my original hesitation, he told me why he made me do it— in spite of the fact he hadn’t even checked my vitals before this (i.e. his motive was opinion based, not medical). I’m happy that CityMD is close to where I live and I can get a same day appointment without having to go to the Emergency Room and wait for hours to be seen. I’m impressed with the quality of care I have received each time I’ve had to come here. The staff is very professional and the facility is extremely clean, especially the rest room. 😂 I highly recommend this place if you need to be seen by a doctor quickly, same day.

Dr Hong and the rest of his staff were warm and kind unfortunately, over the past couple years have been to many medical facilities, where the staff could care less whether you were there or not there’s an absolute pleasure to be sick that day

Nurses were very nice but terrible at drawing blood. Got stuck 3 times to still not have my blood drawn. Very frustrating.

Came in with ear/face pain and a lesion on my jaw. Doctor completely misdiagnosed me as having TMJ and an inflamed follicle when I actually have shingles! My regular doctor took one look at me and correctly diagnosed me immediately. Very disappointed that the CityMD doctor missed what should have been a very easy diagnosis. Just TERRIBLE!
